Biography
Tannis Dorscht is an End of Life Doula, Life Celebrant, and Grief Educator residing in Okotoks, Alberta, with her husband and four dogs. She is the proud mother of five adult children and grandmother to five, whom she is blessed to have living nearby. Guided by her intuitive nature and genuine curiosity about what makes each of us unique, Tannis found her passion for navigating and empowering end-of-life journeys after the passing of her own father in 2017. Her personal experience sparked a realization within her, leading her to embark on a journey of learning and growth in Life Celebrations, Grief Education, and End-of-Life Doula support.
Whether you are seeking support in planning a celebration of life for a loved one, grieving a loss, or navigating your own end-of-life journey, Tannis is here to provide compassionate care and guidance. Her goal is to empower you on your unique path towards comfort, healing, and finding meaning in the midst of loss and transition.
